Development Programs
Columbia, S.C. Columbia Housing Authority has been named a 2007
recipient of four National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials
(NAHRO) Merit Awards:

Celia
Saxon Free Wi-Fi Network, CNA Training Program and Celia Saxon Development also
have been entered in the NAHRO National Awards of Excellence Competition. The awards recognize outstanding achievement
in housing and community development programs throughout the nation.
NAHRO
members are consistently on the forefront of innovation in the affordable
housing industry, said NAHRO President Donald J. Cameron. The work of our Awards of Excellence winners
helps Americans nationwide turn units into homes, and downtowns into economic
engines.
The
National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials is a 74-year-old
membership organization of 3,200 housing and community development agencies and
19,500 professionals throughout the United States whose mission is to create
affordable housing and safe, viable communities that enhance the quality of
life for all Americans, especially those of low and moderate income.
