Columbia Housing
Authority to Hold Online Auction
Items Include Used Cars, Office
Equipment, Appliances and Children’s Furniture
Columbia, S.C. – Columbia Housing Authority will hold an online
auction to sell hundreds of used items, including cars, computers, printers, kitchen
appliances, washers and dryers, and children’s furniture. Bids will be accepted at www.chaauction.org
from 7 a.m. June 7 until 7 a.m. June 14.
Minimum
bids range from $5 to $400. Registration
is required prior to bidding on an item, and interested parties are encouraged
to register early by visiting www.chaauction.org. Although the Web site will not accept bids
before June 7, users may preview items for sale at anytime. For more information, contact Jackie Wood at

CHA manages nearly 1,900 conventional
public housing units and administers more than 3,100 rental assistance
contracts throughout Richland County.
CHA is the third oldest housing authority in the nation and has
continuously been recognized by HUD for its successful housing and education
