Each year, the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) evaluates the performance of Columbia Housing Authority using the Resident Service and Satisfaction Survey. The survey is designed to measure the satisfaction and overall experience of public housing residents with their living conditions. Households will receive surveys from March 31 - May 27, 2008. Resident participation is essential to the survey's success. Your opinion is important to HUD. If you have questions about the survey, please call the REAC's Customer Service Center at 1-888-245-4860 (Toll Free). |
Commonly Asked Questions:
What is the Customer Service and Satisfaction Survey?
The Customer Service and Satisfaction Survey is part of HUD's commitment to soliciting customer feedback in making management decisions. The survey is mailed to a sample of residents on an annual basis to determine overall tenant satisfaction with their living conditions. Your household may be randomly selected to participate this year.
Will anyone know what I said in the survey? Is the survey confidential?
If you receive a survey, you should NOT write your name on it. HUD is committed to making sure that Columbia Housing Authority will NOT know who participated or how they responded.
Who will receive the survey?
Columbia Housing Authority residents will be chosen randomly using a computer program. The survey takes place annually, so if you do not receive a survey this year, you may in future years.
How will the survey results be used?
HUD will use the survey results to identify areas within Columbia Housing Authority that need improvement. The survey measures six areas: maintenance and repair, services, communication, safety, development appearance and overall satisfaction.
