Since 1934, the Columbia Housing Authority has been providing affordable housing to the citizens of the City of Columbia and Richland County in South Carolina. 

ATTENTION APPLICANTS:

The Housing Authority of the City of Columbia, S.C.

The CHA will accept Public Housing applications from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 1, 2018 for the following waiting lists:


 1. ​Elderly Housing at Oak-Read and Marion Street highrises. Eligible applicants must be 62 years old with no children.
​2. Standard Housing for 4 and 5 Bedroom Eligible Families.

Applications will be accepted for these 2 categories only starting March 1, 2018 on the first business day of the month from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. until further notice.  
Applications can only be made online at www.chasc.org

​The CHA is not opening the waiting list for the Housing Choice Voucher/Section 8 Program at this time.
